A sensor is a small wireless device. It holds onto a bare steel spot on the machine with a magnet, and it runs on its own battery, so there is nothing to wire.

Vibren puts small wireless sensors on the machines that keep your site running. Each sensor tracks how its machine shakes and how warm it runs. An app on your iPhone or iPad then tells you, in plain words, which machines need a look.
Vibren isn’t available yet. It is in testing.
What Vibren does
Every running machine shakes a little, and that motion is called vibration.
Each machine has its own normal pattern, so a change in the shaking or the heat can be a sign that it needs a look.
Vibren looks for those changes and puts what it finds into plain words.
How Vibren works
It feels the machine run.
Every so often, the sensor takes two measurements: how much the machine is shaking, and how warm it is. Think of it as a fitness tracker, built for a pump or a motor instead of a person.
A short trip by radio.
The sensor sends each reading by radio to a gateway, a small box on your site. The sensors don’t use your Wi-Fi, and the gateway passes their readings on to Vibren.
First, it learns what’s normal.
A doctor learns your resting heartbeat before judging a change in it, and Vibren works the same way. For about the first week a machine runs, Vibren learns that machine’s normal.
Then the app gives one word.
Each machine gets one of three plain words. The ones that need someone rise to the top, each with a next step and a date to do it by.

What you see in the app
A short report every week
Every week, Vibren prepares a short PDF about your site, pictures first. It opens with the machines that need someone. Then it shows how each machine’s status moved, and whether every sensor checked in.

How you get started
You install Vibren yourself, and we do the planning before your kit arrives.

Send photos
Take two of each machine, one of the whole machine and one of the spot where a sensor could go. We review them and put a plan for your site in the app.

Receive your kit
Your sensors arrive ready to set up in the app.

Fit the sensors
Stop the machine and lock it out under your site’s safety procedure, then place each sensor on its marked spot. The app walks you through each step.

Let it learn
Each machine needs about a week of running before Vibren gives it a grade.
No one from Vibren comes to your site, but if you get stuck, you can message us from the app.
What Vibren doesn’t do
- It doesn’t fix machines: it tells you what it sees, and a person does the work.
- It doesn’t predict when a machine will fail, but it does show when a machine has moved away from its normal.
- It doesn’t send anyone to your site, since your team does the setup and support happens by message.
- It doesn’t open with charts: the plain word comes first, and the details are one tap away.
When can I use Vibren?
Not yet. Vibren is in testing, and we don’t have a date to share.
Do I need an expert to install it?
No vibration specialist is needed. Anyone allowed to stop and lock out the machine under your site’s procedure can fit the sensors, with the app guiding each step.
What does it measure?
It measures how much each machine is shaking and how warm it runs, and each sensor also reports how much battery it has left.
What data do you collect?
The sensor readings, plus the notes, photos and voice notes your team adds in the app, and the email address you sign in with. It’s stored on servers in the United States.
Does it replace an engineer?
No. It shows which machines have changed and what to check first, but a person still looks at the machine, makes the call and does the work.
What machines is it for?
Rotating machines such as fans, blowers, pumps, motors, gearboxes and conveyors. Compressors, presses, crushers and mills need a closer look from us first.
